Friends of Butu Levi Donates Bags of Rice to Muslim Students in District 7

The Friends of Butu Levi in electoral District number 7, Montserrado County, has donated a few bags of rice to the Islamic Student Association in the district 7.

Donating the rice to Muslim students in district number 7, Kaiballah Conteh, the chairman of the Friends of Butu Levi, said the gesture is a way of affiliating and identifying with their Muslim brothers and sisters in the district, especially during their fast and prayer month.

Receiving the bags of rice, the Chairman of the Muslim Students in District number 7, Montserrado County, Musa Sheriff, speaking on behalf of his colleagues, said they are extremely grateful to Butu Levi and his team for remembering them during their holy month of Ramadan. He said, for them, the quantity of rice donated doesn’t matter but the intent of the donation is what matters the most to them.

Mr. Sheriff promised that his organization will ensure that various communities in district number 7 will receive a fair share of the rice.

“We want to say thank you to comrade Buti Levi. This is not a surprise to us. We follow you when you were chairman of the Vanguard Students Unification Party and we saw the diversity that was reflected in your leadership of the party”, Chairman Musa Sheriff asserted.
